Friedrich Thurau (painter)
Friedrich Thurau (* 1812 in Stargard ; † April 2, 1888 in Konstanz ) was a German landscape painter .
Thurau studied in Berlin and from November 18, 1842 at the Royal Academy of Arts in Munich . From 1837 he lived in Konstanz on Lake Constance .
Together with Ignaz Heinrich von Wessenberg , Ludwig Leiner and Egidius Federle , Friedrich Thurau took part in the gathering of 27 Constance citizens who founded the Kunstverein Konstanz on March 14, 1858 .
