Friedrich Wagner (clergyman)
Friedrich Wagner (born January 9, 1867 in Tartu ; † October 24, 1943 ) was a German Catholic theologian .
Life
Adolph Wagner's son attended high school in Charlottenburg and from 1888 studied at the philosophical faculties in Bonn , Berlin , Münster and Vienna . He received his doctorate in art history in 1894. He was at the Kgl. Museum zu Berlin employed. He joined the Catholic Church in 1900 and studied theology in Freiburg im Breisgau for 6 semesters. He was ordained a priest in Wroclaw in 1904. He was chaplain in Breslau and in 1906 cathedral deficit. He received his doctorate in 1910 under Franz Seraph Renz and completed his habilitation a year later. In 1916 he succeeded Renz as a full professor. In 1932 he retired .
