Friedrich Christian Georg Burchard of the blankets (born August 28, 1791 in Stade , † December 2, 1861 in Melkof ) was a Mecklenburg landowner and politician.

Friedrich von derdeck was a member of the noble family von derdeck . His father was the royal Hanoverian Prime Minister Claus von der Betten (* 1742, † 1826). He himself left no children.

Career

Friedrich von der Betten studied law at the University of Göttingen from 1807 and became a member of the Corps Hannovera Göttingen together with his brother August (1789-1857) , from September 1809 both moved to the University of Heidelberg as a result of the gendarme affair , where they joined the Corps Hannovera Heidelberg belonged to. Friedrich von derdecke also took part in the Wars of Liberation in the King's German Legion together with his brother August . He was then Hanoverian Government before 1848 for the electoral district of Mecklenburg-Schwerin 24 / Lübtheen to Mecklenburg Representative Assembly was elected and filled his mandate. He did not join any political group and was a member of the school system committee . He was the heir to Melkof , Langenheide, Jesow and Klein Berkenthin , and later also to Rittershausen, Wischhof, Feldhof and Eickhof.

He owned the Melkof, Klein Berkenthin, Langenheide, Jesow and Wischhof estates first with his brother Ernst Carl von der Betten (* 1796; † 1846) and then the first four mentioned with his nephew Julius von der Betten (* 1827; † 1867) , the last one with his nephew Karl Klaus von der Betten (* 1833, † 1865) together until his death.
