Frithjof Fischer (also: Frithjof Fischer-Sörensen, pseudonyms Dieter Ott , Frithjof Asmus Johannsen-Nürnberg , Wulf Sörensen ; * July 23, 1899 in Bonn , † May 21, 1977 in Orth an der Donau ) was a German writer. Life

In the First World War, Fischer was claims to front-line fighters and served in the Bavarian "skier Corps". Fischer later completed an internship in the art and book trade. He was married several times and had at least one son.

Fischer was a member of the NSV and the Schutzstaffel (membership number 107191, last known rank of SS-Unterscharführer), but not a member of the NSDAP . According to SD investigations , he was close to the German Faith Movement and the Bündische Jugendbewegung. In 1934, according to the SD's assessment, he was still “firmly on National Socialist soil”; However, he deviated from those of National Socialism with his racial positions represented in the work The Voice of the Ancestors .

The Nordland-Verlag was founded in the summer of 1933 in Dusseldorf founded by Fischer, who until his arrest in 1936 editor of the publisher and editor of the published by the same publisher semi monthlies Nordland (Subtitles combat Journal of nationalist action ) and the fountain. For the German character it was.

Between October 1936 and July 1937 he was charged with "insulting the leader" of the secret police in protective custody taken.

During his detention, he was expelled from the Nordland publishing house on Himmler's instructions and removed from the literature commission. His release from protective custody in July 1937 was linked by the SS "for reasons of state policy" with the condition that Fischer-Sörensen could only be commercially active in the two following years and that publications require the express permission of the Reichsführer SS.

Between 1941 and 1944, Fischer studied painting and art history in Paris . He later worked as an interpreter, foreign correspondent, painter and tour guide.

Literary work

Above all, Fischer published popular propaganda writings that proclaimed the racial superiority of the Nordic peoples and the cultural superiority of the Germanic peoples. According to his own statements, Fischer was active as a writer since around 1920. He wrote numerous articles for the magazines "Die Selfwehr" (1933/34), "Der Brunnen" (1934/35) and "Nordland" (from 1934), of which he was also the founder.

In 1933 under the pseudonym Wulf Sörensen in Nordland-Verlag published title The voice of the ancestors was Fischer's most important work in terms of circulation and reception - an incendiary call against the Jews:

",Let man be noble, helpful and good!' Isn't that far, far more than the ten commandments that the Jew Moses had to give to the depraved, colored Hebrew rabble in the desert in order to make the basic principles of human existence understandable to this horde? "
