The Turkish Embassy Accra ( officially : Embassy of the Republic of Turkey Accra; T ürkiye C umhuriyeti Akra Büyükelçiliği or T . C . Akra Büyükelçiliği) is the highest diplomatic representation of the Republic of Turkey in Ghana . It is located in Accra , the largest city (and also the capital) of the country. Kenan Tepedelen has been the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in the embassy building since May 20, 2010 .

Three years after Ghana's independence, the embassy was opened in 1960. In 1981 it was closed for financial reasons and reopened on February 1, 2010. In addition to Ghana, the Accra embassy is also accredited for Togo and Benin .
