Turkish Embassy Zagreb
The Turkish Embassy Zagreb ( officially : Embassy of the Republic of Turkey Zagreb; T ürkiye C umhuriyeti Zagreb Büyükelçiliği or T . C . Büyükelçiliği Zagreb) is the highest diplomatic representation of the Republic of Turkey in Croatia . Burak Özügergin has resided in the embassy building as Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey since 2010 .
In 1969 a consulate general was opened in the Socialist Republic of Croatia . After Croatia's independence in 1991, the Council of Ministers decided on September 4, 1992 to upgrade the Consulate General into an embassy. The Zagreb embassy was opened on April 1st, 1993.
