The Turkish Embassy in Bucharest (officially: "Embassy of the Republic of Turkey Bucharest"; " T ürkiye C umhuriyeti Bukarest Büyükelçiliği" or " T . C . Bukarest Büyükelçiliği") is the highest diplomatic representation of the Republic of Turkey in Romania . Ömür Şölendil has been the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in the embassy building since 2011 .

Diplomatic relations between Romania and the Ottoman Empire date back to 1878.

The embassy building and the embassy residence are located on a 3200 square meter property in the center of Bucharest. The embassy residence was built around 1900 and bought in October 1934.
