The Turkish Embassy in Prague ( formally the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey Prague; T ürkiye C umhuriyeti Prague Büyükelçiliği or T . C . Prague Büyükelçiliği) is the highest diplomatic representation of the Republic of Turkey in the Czech Republic . Cihad Erginay has been the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in the embassy building since May 1, 2010 .

Diplomatic relations between Turkey and the Czech Republic began with the signing of the treaty in Ankara on October 11, 1924. The Turkish embassy was opened in 1925. At that time relations were on par with envoys . Vasıf Çınar was accredited as the first envoy on August 20, 1925. Yakup Kadri Karaosmanoğlu was an envoy in Prague until the outbreak of World War II . The embassy was not manned in the interwar period. After the war, Faik Hüseyin Hozar became envoy to Prague on February 12, 1946. Cemil Vafi became the first Turkish ambassador to Prague on April 24, 1963.
