The Turkish Embassy in Pretoria (official: Embassy of the Republic of Turkey Pretoria; Turkish: T ürkiye C umhuriyeti Pretoria Büyükelçiliği or T . C . Büyükelçiliği Pretoria) is the highest diplomatic representation of the Republic of Turkey in South Africa . Ahmet Vakur Gökdenizler has been the ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in the embassy building since 2010 .

Diplomatic relations between Turkey and South Africa were established on April 22, 1993. The Embassy in Pretoria opened on March 22, 1994. In addition to South Africa, the ambassador is also accredited for Botswana , Lesotho and Swaziland .

The honorary consuls general in Cape Town and Gaborone (Botswana) report to the embassy .
