Fritz Buhl
Fritz Bühl (born May 1, 1919 in Wurzen , † October 16, 1985 in Berlin ) was a German SPD politician .
Life
Fritz Buhl attended a grammar school and was even before the " seizure " of the Nazis member of the Socialist Workers Youth (SAJ). He did his military service in the Wehrmacht and then studied mechanical engineering .
After the Second World War , Bühl went to Berlin in 1947 and became editor of the “ Spandauer Volksblatt ”. In the Berlin election in 1954 he was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives, in the same year he also became chairman of the SPD in the Spandau district . He stayed that way until 1965. In the following election in 1958 , Bühl was elected as a member of parliament, but resigned from parliament in January 1959 because he was elected district councilor for construction in the Spandau district. He held this position for 16 years until 1975.
Bühl was a member of the Broadcasting Council of the Sender Free Berlin (SFB).
