Fritz Diller

Fritz Diller (* 1875 in Gerthausen , † 1946 in Munich ) was a German sculptor and porcelain maker .

Life

Diller mainly designed animal figures made of porcelain and bronze, also as reliefs. These included at least 21 dogs, deer, horses as well as ducks, bears, wild boars and others. He was a sought-after artist who mostly worked for manufacturers such as Rosenthal , WMF , Metzler & Ortloff and Nymphenburg .

Some of Diller’s works are in the Bröhan Museum in Berlin .
