Fritz Grassmann

Fritz Grassmann (born April 13, 1913 in Berlin ; † September 4, 1969 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Fritz Grassmann attended elementary school and did an apprenticeship in gastronomy , where he also worked. In 1927 he joined the Socialist Workers' Youth (SAJ), later also the SPD and the General German Trade Union Federation .

After the Second World War , Grassmann became the youth secretary of the SPD in the Mitte district . In the first Berlin election in 1946 , he was elected to the district council in the Kreuzberg district. In the 1950 election he was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives, to which he belonged until 1954. He then worked in the Kreuzberg district office.
