Fritz Klotzsch

Fritz Klotzsch (born May 16, 1896 in Berlin ; † January 9, 1971 there ) was a German film producer .

Life

From 1917 to 1920 worked as an actor, he came in 1920 to the film company Munich Lichtspielkunst where he spent three years as a manager worked. In 1933 he became the production and manufacturing manager who just "Aryanised" Cine alliance talkies appointed.

From 1937 to 1939 he was production manager at Bavaria , in 1940 production group leader and in 1942 production group leader at Tobis . In his various functions, Klotzsch was involved in the creation of numerous productions during the National Socialist era .

After the end of the war he joined DEFA in 1949 , but from the beginning of the 1950s he worked exclusively for German film companies. In 1954 he founded Maxim-Film together with Robert A. Stemmle , and since 1956 he has been managing director of Uni-Film. Most recently, as production manager at Rialto in Hamburg, he was jointly responsible for the making of several Edgar Wallace films .
