Fritz Poitsch
Friedrich "Fritz" Poitsch (born October 15, 1926 in Füssen , † January 23, 1999 in Bad Aibling ) was a German ice hockey striker and coach.
Player career
Fritz Poitsch played from
- From 1948/49 to 1949/50 he was a striker on the EV Füssen ice hockey team and was part of the championship team from 1949
- 1950/51 at Krefelder EV
- 1952/53 to 1957/58 at SC Riessersee
- 1961/62 at EV Rosenheim
He made 36 appearances in the national team , including at the 1953 World Championships .
Coaching career
He worked as a trainer at EV Rosenheim and DEC Inzell .
Honors
Fritz Poitsch was a member of the German Hall of Fame , which is run by the Ice Hockey Museum .
