The Frohnbach is a right tributary of the Zwickauer Mulde in the Saxon district of Zwickau , Germany .

The Frohnbach rises in a field east of the Callenberg district of Meinsdorf . In the direction of flow to the north, it initially runs in a floodplain before reaching the direct urban area of Limbach-Oberfrohna at the Limbach-Oberfrohna zoo . After flowing through the zoo in the west, the Frohnbach passes the towns of Oberfrohna , Mittelfrohna and Niederfrohna .

The lower course of the Frohnbach begins at the northern exit of Niederfrohna. It now flows west in meanders to its mouth in the Zwickauer Mulde between Wolkenburg-Kaufungen in the south and Zinnberg in the north.
