The source of the Frommbach is located at an altitude of around 525  m above sea level. NN in the Waldflur Sonnenleite , around two km east of Weiboldshausen . After a run of 1.7 km the stream flows out at an altitude of about 413  m above sea level. NN south of Höttingen piped underground from the left into the Felchbach .
