The Fuchsloch is a cave near Deutschfeistritz and is 478  m above sea level. A. im Kugelstein north of the main town of Deutschfeistritz and south of Badl , Styria in Austria .

location

The fox hole is located on the eastern slope of the Kugelstein, north of Kugelsteinhöhle III and around 20 meters below the Efeuhöhle , not far from the municipal boundary between Deutschfeistritz and Frohnleiten . The access to the cave is in a ledge.

description

The approximately 4 meter long fox hole has a flat entrance. A corridor about 3.5 meters long, 1.5 meters wide and 0.3 to 0.5 meters high leads from the entrance to the northwest. Other existing parts of the cave interior are not accessible due to the clay deposits. This makes them interesting for future excavations.

The cave floor is covered with a partially dry layer of cave clay, which even extends beyond the entrance.
