Fulvio Lucisano (born August 1, 1928 in Rome ) is an Italian film producer .

Life

Lucisano studied at the La Sapienza University of the Italian capital and graduated in law . As early as 1949 he gained his first experience in film when he was involved in the documentary Anno Santo for the jubilee year 1950; from that year he was responsible for the Istituto Luce in the production of newsreels intended for the Latin American market. Lucisano supported documentary film throughout his life and was responsible for around 300 productions for “Documento Film”. In 1963 he was directed with film editor Renato May as the director of Processo a Stalin , who was not drawn by the actual authors ( Lino Del Fra and Cecilia Mangini ) in protest against interventions in the film structure.

He first worked for the big screen in 1955 when I quattro del getto tornante appeared. With his “Italian International Film”, Lucisano has financed around 130 films to date, including pure commercial productions as well as demanding work by young directors. In the new millennium he also worked occasionally for television. From 1998 to 2001 he was President of ANICA .

2007 Lucisano was the work of Merit awarded in Italy. In 2009 he received an honorary David di Donatello for fifty years of production work.
