The sister journals Nuclear Science and Engineering and Nuclear Technology are also published by the American Nuclear Society . All three together cover the subject areas of the magazine Атомная энергия ( Atomnaja energija ).
Formats of the articles
There are six different formats for articles in the journal. This means in detail the following:
- A technical articles ( technical paper ) is an original contribution to the field of knowledge.
- A technical note or a technical note ( technical notes ) describes preliminary results or limited extensions of previously published work.
- A critical review articles ( critical review ), however, combines an overview of a subject with a comprehensive literature review to the prior art, critically evaluate, the region adds not necessarily add new knowledge.
- A fast communication ( Rapid communication ) enables rapid publication of innovative work of high and immediate interest to the readership of the magazine, after an accelerated review and processing.
- A book review ( Book review ) gives an overview of a recently published book subject-specific, including a brief summary and an assessment (evaluation) for the community.
- A letter to the editor ( Letter to the editor ) provides a fast medium for comments on editorial policies and for discussions on the content of other posts.
