Atomnaja ėnergija ( Russian Атомная энергия , German atomic energy ) is a Soviet and Russian monthly theoretical and scientific-technical journal that publishes articles and reviews on the latest developments in the peaceful uses of atomic energy . That spans questions of Russian nuclear energy, reactor physics and reactor technology . All articles are examined by experts (" peer-reviewed "). The journal is included in many international citation databases.
Translations into English appeared from 1956 to 1963 in The Soviet journal of atomic energy , from 1963 to 1992 in Soviet atomic energy (ISSN: 0038-531x) and since 1992 in Atomic energy (standard ISSN: 1573-8205).
The bibliometric evaluation parameter impact factor for the English-language edition energy Atomic had the following values: 0302 (2018), the five-year Impact Factor 0252 (2018) quotes per item . The journal is published as Open Access .
Editor-in-chief NN Ponomarjow-Stepnoi (* 1928) is a Soviet and Russian reactor physicist , member of the Russian Academy of Sciences (since 1991), member of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (since 1987), doctor of technical sciences and professor. He is the winner of the Lenin Prize (1985) and the State Prize of the USSR .
