The Futsalliga West 2016/17 was the twelfth season of the Futsalliga West , the highest men's futsal division in North Rhine-Westphalia . The season began on September 3, 2016 and ended with the last match day on March 4, 2017. The championship was first won by the MCH Futsal Club Sennestadt from Bielefeld in front of the title holder Holzpfosten Schwerte . Both teams qualified for the 2017 German Futsal Championship . The top scorer was Hakim Aytan from the Black Panthers Bielefeld with 31 goals.

The relegation places were occupied by UFC Paderborn , SC Bayer 05 Uerdingen and Alemannia Aachen . The second team of the UFC Paderborn, the Wuppertaler SV and the Bonn Futsal Lions rose from the subordinate leagues . The Futsal Lions Düsseldorf joined Fortuna Düsseldorf .
