Götzdorf is a district of the municipality of Kumhausen in the Lower Bavarian district of Landshut . Until 1971 it formed an independent municipality.

location

Götzdorf is located about four kilometers southeast of Kumhausen in the Isar-Inn hill country on the Neumarkt-Sankt Veit-Landshut railway line and on the LA 21 district road.

history

During the time of the Duchy of Bavaria , the village was divided between the areas of responsibility of the Teisbach and Erding district courts through the Dorfgasse . The municipality of Götzdorf emerged from the Obergangkofen tax district in 1818 and belonged to the district court, district office and finally to the district of Landshut.

In 1831 Götzdorf had 72 inhabitants, in 1863 82 inhabitants. The municipality of the same name with over 200 inhabitants comprised the districts of Altenbach, Berndorf, Götzdorf, Höhenberg, Obergrund, Rahstorf, Rostberg, Salzdorf, Semmelweg and Untergrub. With effect from January 1, 1971, the municipality of Götzdorf was largely integrated into the new municipality of Kumhausen as part of the regional reform in Bavaria , the other part came to the Berg district of the independent city of Landshut . In 1987 Götzdorf had 129 inhabitants.

Attractions

  • Branch church Maria Himmelfahrt. The late Gothic complex dates from 1466, the pointed helmet was renewed in 1940. The interior contains a pieta from around 1500. Ecclesiastically Götzdorf belongs to the parish of Obergangkofen.
