Gündelhart is a settlement in the political municipality of Homburg in the Frauenfeld district in the Swiss canton of Thurgau . The place had 49 inhabitants in 2010.

Gündelhart is located on the Seerücken between Untersee and Thurbene , east of Hörhausen and north of Lanzenneunforn .

history

Gündelhart belonged to the local community Gündelhart-Hörhausen in the municipality of Steckborn until 1998 . Until 1953 the local community was called Gündelhart.

Attractions

The village image is shaped by the Catholic Church of St. Mauritius with its characteristic onion dome, Gündelhart Castle, the «Beggestübli» building complex and the centrally located rectory.
