Gunter Arnold
Gunter Arnold (born March 13, 1951 ) is a former German sprinter who specialized in the 400-meter run and started for the GDR .
At the European Athletics Indoor Championships in 1974 in Gothenburg, he won bronze. In 1978 he came in fourth place at the European Athletics Championships in Prague with the GDR team in the 4 x 400 meter relay .
In 1976 he was GDR outdoor champion, in 1974 and 1976 GDR runner-up indoors.
Gunter Arnold started for the ASK Potsdam .
