Günter Böhme (politician, 1925)

Günter Böhme (born November 21, 1925 in Leverkusen ; † July 28, 2006 ) was a German manager and member of parliament ( CDU ).

Life

After graduation Böhme began studying the law, which he in 1952 with the graduation to the Dr. jur. at the University of Cologne on The Allied Control Council and the Allied High Commission. The control system in Germany ended 1945-1951 . He then worked from 1952 to 1989 as a lawyer, authorized signatory and director at Bayer AG . From 1978 to 1986 he was chairman of the TuS Bayer 04 Leverkusen . Günter Böhme was previously director at Duisburg copper smelter.

At the age of 18, Günter Böhme joined the NSDAP in 1943 ( membership number 9.475.011). From 1969 to 1972 he was a member of the German Bundestag . He was elected via the state list of the CDU North Rhine-Westphalia.

Böhme was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit 1st Class (October 8, 1980) and the Great Cross of Merit (October 4, 1985).
