Günter Diwo

Günter Diwo (born May 31, 1933 ; † March 15, 2017 ) was a German trade unionist and politician ( CDU ).

Life

Diwo worked as a miner since 1947. In 1950 he passed the miners' test and in 1953 the tusk test . From 1970 he was chairman of the works council of the Ensdorf mine .

Diwo joined the CDU in 1963. He was a member of the Saarland Landtag , from 1974 to 1975 as a replacement for the retired Eduard Jakobs , from 1976 to 1980 as a replacement for the retired Erwin Sinnwell and from 1980 to 1985 as an elected member of parliament.

Diwo was a member of the St. Barbara Roden miners' association and at times its 1st chairman.

Günter Diwo was married and had one child.
