Günter Heym

Günter Heym (born October 30, 1923 ; † April 21, 2011 ) was a German lawyer .

Life

Walter Heym's son, a senior police officer. D. in Munich, entered the 1st class of the Maximiliansgymnasium in Munich on April 12, 1934 and was drafted into the Wehrmacht on December 1, 1941 from the 8th class. Günter Heym studied law at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and in 1956 at the Ruprecht-Karls-University of Heidelberg with a competitive work on the "blatant advertising" in Eugen Ulmer Dr. iur. PhD. In 1956 he joined the Schlatter law firm in Heidelberg.

Heym was President of the Baden-Wuerttemberg Lawyers' Court , Chairman and Honorary Chairman of the Working Group of Presidents of the Legal Tribunals of the Federal Republic of Germany.

For his commitment he was honored with the Great Cross of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Order of Merit of the State of Baden-Württemberg .
