Günter Zielke

Günter Zielke (born June 3, 1931 in Danzig ) is a German CDU politician and former member of the Hamburg Parliament .

First years

Günter Zielke attended elementary and high school in his hometown of Gdansk. After fleeing to the West in 1945 , he graduated from school in Timmendorfer Strand and completed an apprenticeship as a radio mechanic. He retrained as a bricklayer and worked in this profession as an accordant in Hamburg .

From 1956 to 1959 he served in the Bundeswehr. Then he attended the seafaring school , acquired the marine radio license, 2nd class and got a job as a radio officer with the shipping company Hamburg-Süd .

From 1963 to 1972 Zielke worked as a training advisor at the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce . In 1972 he moved to the Hamburg authority for schools, youth and vocational training as an administrative employee and consultant for in-company and inter-company training . Günter Zielke is married and has two sons. In this context, he was temporarily chairman of the district parents' council in Harburg-Stadt .

politics

In 1968 Günter Zielke joined the CDU and became chairman of the CDU local association Heimfeld . From 1970 to 1978 he sat in the Hamburg-Harburg district assembly , from 1974 on as deputy chairman. In addition, he was in 1971/1972 on behalf of his party deputy in the authority for schools, youth and vocational training .

In June 1978 he was elected as a member of the Hamburg parliament. The main focus of his work in parliament was on the committees for internal affairs , public assets and sport . He used a hospital stay to highlight deficiencies in the Hamburg health system in a newspaper article.
