Günther Bartels
Günther Bartels (born June 27, 1906 in Wiesbaden ; † November 1, 1983 in Eltville am Rhein ) was a German motorcycle racer .
Günther Bartels first drew attention to himself in 1927 when he was on DKW on the Frankfurt Tri-City Tour behind Arthur Müller and Arthur Geiss . Half a year later he won the small class of licensed drivers at the Lückendorf hill climb . Later he also competed on the Zschopau brand in the German Six Day Tour and the International Motorcycle Country Tour in 1929 . At the end of June 1929 Günther Bartels won the 350 cm³ barrel for the Czechoslovak Grand Prix in Prague - Zbraslav on a DKW . In September of that year, he also won the Schleizer triangle race in the same class .
Günther Bartels died on November 1, 1983 at the age of 77 in Eltville am Rhein.
