Gabe Gauthier (born January 20, 1984 in Torrance , California ) is an American ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Augsburg Panthers in the German Ice Hockey League since 2011 .

Career

Gabe Gauthier began his career as an ice hockey player with the Chilliwack Chiefs, for whom he was active from 1999 to 2002 in the Canadian junior league British Columbia Hockey League . He then attended the University of Denver from 2002 to 2006 , for whose ice hockey team he played parallel in the National Collegiate Athletic Association . With the team he won the NCAA championship in 2004 and 2005 and the championship of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association in 2005 . From 2006 to 2010 the center ran for the Manchester Monarchs in the American Hockey League and took part in the AHL All-Star Classic in 2008 . During the same period he also came to eight appearances for their cooperation partner Los Angeles Kings in the National Hockey League . The 2010/11 season he spent with the Syracuse Crunch in the AHL and the Victoria Salmon Kings in the ECHL , but only came to a total of six missions during the season.
