Gabino Zavala
Gabino Zavala (born September 7, 1951 in Tijuana ) is auxiliary bishop emeritus in Los Angeles .
Life
The Archbishop of Los Angeles, Cardinal Timothy Manning , ordained him a priest on May 28, 1977 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Los Angeles and titular bishop of Tamascani on February 8, 1994 . The Archbishop of Los Angeles Roger Michael Cardinal Mahony donated him episcopal ordination on March 19 of the same year ; Co-consecrators were the auxiliary bishops John James Ward and Armando Xavier Ochoa from Los Angeles.
He resigned from his office on January 4, 2012.
