Gabriel Akwasi Abiabo Mante (born July 27, 1947 in Nkonya-Abenkro , Ghana ) is a Ghanaian clergyman and bishop of Jasikan .

Life

Gabriel Akwasi Abiabo Mante received on 2 July 1977, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On December 19, 1994, Pope John Paul II appointed him first bishop of the newly founded Jasikan diocese . The Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples , Cardinal Jozef Tomko , donated him episcopal ordination on May 28, 1995 ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Tamale , Gregory Ebolawola Kpiebaya , and the Bishop of Ho , Francis Anani Kofi Lodonu . Bishop Mante maintains contacts in Germany. Due to a partnership between his diocese and the Plankstetten Abbey, he was consecrator at the episcopal ordination of Eichstatt Bishop Gregor Maria Hanke .
