Joseph Mairura Okemwa (born June 29, 1954 in Nyabururu , Kenya ) is Bishop of Kisii .

Life

Joseph Mairura Okemwa received on 27 October 1987, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On December 19, 1994, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Kisii. The Archbishop of Nairobi , Maurice Michael Cardinal Otunga , donated him episcopal ordination on July 21, 1995 ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Kisumu , Zacchaeus Okoth , and the Bishop of Embu , John Njue .
