Gabriel Enrique Montero Umaña OFMConv (born November 6, 1945 in Moravia , Province of San José , Costa Rica ) is Bishop of the Diocese of San Isidro de El General .
Life
Gabriel Enrique Montero Umaña joined the religious order of the Minorites and made temporary profession on February 2, 1965 . On February 24, 1972, he made perpetual profession. Montero Umaña received on 16 August 1973, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On December 24, 2013, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of San Isidro de El General . The bishop emeritus of San Isidro de El General, Guillermo Loría Garita , donated him episcopal ordination on March 1, 2014 ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Alajuela , Angel San Casimiro Fernández OAR , and the Bishop of Puntarenas , Oscar Gerardo Fernández Guillén .
