Gabriel Kessler
Gabriel Kessler (born March 20, 1648 in Brixen , † December 6, 1719 in Bolzano ) was a Baroque painter .
Life
He was trained by his father, the well-known baroque painter Stephan Kessler . His brothers Michael and Raphael were also painters. In 1672 he settled in Bolzano, where he worked with the painter and priest Johann Baptist Hueber , who specialized in baroque illusion painting . Kessler mainly created panel paintings and frescoes, taking into account the view from the Italian Baroque .
