Gabriel Roy

Gabriel Roy (born February 27, 1940 in Saignelégier ; † January 28, 2001 in Delémont ; resident in Epauvillers ) was a Swiss politician ( PCSI ).

Roy completed his diploma at the commercial school in La Chaux-de-Fonds and then worked as an insurance clerk in Winterthur before becoming an accountant and then authorized signatory in a watch company in Les Breuleux .

From 1976 to 1979 he had a seat on the city ​​council of Delémont for the Chrétiens-socialistes indépendants. From 1976 to 1978 he was second vice-president of the Constitutional Council of the Canton of Jura and in 1979 was a member of the Jura parliament . He then served on the National Council from 1979 to 1983 .
