Gabriela Amgarten

Gabriela Amgarten (born October 23, 1961 in Sarnen ) is a Swiss television presenter and editor .

Amgarten started working for Swiss television in 1990 as an editor for Schweiz aktuell and a presenter for the Sunday magazine. From 1992 she hosted the game show Risk and from 1994 she was also the editor-in-chief of the show, where she stayed until 2000. In addition, she moderated the program Jenseits von Leutschenbach from 1998 to 1999 , in which well-known employees of Swiss television were portrayed. After 2000 she moderated the programs Nostalgia Nights and Who is Who . In 2001 she became editor-in-chief of games , and from 2004 to 2005 editor-in-chief of quizzes and games . From July 2005 to the end of 2010, Amgarten headed the entertainment department, with which she produced programs such as Die biggest Schweizer Hits , Giacobbo / Müller , SF bi de Lüt , Landfrauenküche , Über Stock und Stein and others.

Gabriela Amgarten has been running a company since 2011 that offers media training, coaching and moderation services. She is a lecturer and trainer at MAZ - The Swiss School of Journalism , at the PHW Bern and at the PHZ Lucerne . She is also vice-president of the board of the project “200 years of hospitality in Central Switzerland”.

From 2004 to 2011 Amgarten completed training as a management coach as well as the CAS Organizational Development 2/12 at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland.
