SRF bi de Lüt is a television series of Swiss radio and television . The local history oriented program is moderated by Nik Hartmann and consists of individual seasons with different structures. They will each Friday around 20:00 on SRF 1 broadcast. The series is regularly supplemented live by SRF bi de Lüt . These shows are broadcast live from different Swiss locations every Saturday evening.
Formats
The list is incomplete; some formats such as “Tellspiele” were shot once and in some cases not moderated by Nik Hartmann.
One place is decreasing : The first season was devoted to a very special topic: One place, namely Eglisau , or rather its residents, should decrease . A selected group of people had themselves weighed and tried to lose as much weight as possible in twelve weeks. The experiment succeeded and made the show popular from the start.
Home game : In the “home game”, three (two in the 2009 season) contestants whose home is a certain Swiss community, but who have never lived there, or at least have not lived there for a long time. In the first round, questions about the culture and history of their hometown are asked and evaluated. In the following rounds, manual skills are usually expected in a special craft from the relevant location. This can range from shoveling coal for the Brienz-Rothorn railway to skiing with skis from the 1920s. The recording of each broadcast usually takes two days.
Over hill and dale : Nik Hartmann undertakes a multi-week trip across Switzerland, accompanied by his dog Jabba . He meets prominent personalities and philosophizes with them on the way or he presents the places he visits in more detail. In the last stage, the moderator climbs an Alpine peak. On November 14, 2011, twelve-year-old Jabba died of a twisted stomach .

Wunderland : This is the follow-up program to Over Stick and Stone . Nik Hartmann shows little-known landscapes in Switzerland and talks to the inhabitants, who mostly have a special hobby or job. The following regions have already been visited:

Hut stories : during a season, the life and work of hut keepers in three SAC huts is monitored with cameras. The private aspects are also shown. The programs are broadcast after the end of the season in October to December.

A hut stories special was also produced from 2014 . In this program, Nik Hartmann visits three huts and looks to see what has changed since the last visit. This format is broadcast every Saturday evening and lasts around 100 minutes.

Country woman's kitchen : Seven peasant women take part in this competition every season. In each episode a participant reports from the court. The main task is to serve the other six with a menu that is as appealing and good as possible. These six then rate the hostess's meal. In the eighth episode, the winner will be chosen, with all seven women cooking together again. The final broadcast will be broadcast on Saturday evening and last 100 minutes and will be moderated by Nik Hartmann.
Men's Kitchen : Broadcast from April 5, 2013. Five men take part in this competition in each season. Each episode reports on the place of residence of a participant. The main task is to serve the other four with a menu that is as appealing and good as possible. These four then rate the host's food. The winner will be chosen in the fifth broadcast. From 2016, the men will cook for their own mother and the candidates' four mothers. The winner receives a Migros shopping voucher worth CHF 5000, the second and third placed also receive a smaller shopping voucher. In 2016, the mothers named Bernhard Kallen the winner.
Our village : This broadcast season revolves around the life of a village. At the same time, the program accompanies the villagers and shows their everyday life and the village community. In 2012 the first season was filmed in Tenna ( Graubünden ). On September 17, 2012, this program won the award of the 7th Eurovision Creative Forum in Berlin as the most innovative program format in public television.

Club stories : First from October 23, 2009. Nik Hartmann visits various Swiss clubs . He goes on a high hunt in the canton of Graubünden with a group of hunters or helps set up a hydrogen balloon , in which he then drives over the Aargau.
The bad guys : In several episodes that are Schwinger presented, focusing on the Federal Wrestling and Alpine Festival prepare 2010 in Frauenfeld. The show accompanies the favorites. The name Die Böse is derived from a common nickname for the powerfully built Schwinger.
The ski instructors : The everyday life of ski instructors is shown in several episodes. Aspects are also shown that are unknown to an outsider. Everything revolves around the fact that the guests feel comfortable. So far, three locations have been presented:

In the 60th program on June 6, 2020, Nik Hartmann looked back on previous programs with co-presenter Annina Campell and “Grill-Ueli” Bernold, who has been presenting grill recipes since the beginning . They visited three venues (Scuol, Neuhausen and Spiez). With this broadcast, Hartmann said goodbye to the SRF audience as a presenter.
