Andreas Matti

Andreas Matti (born December 21, 1959 in Saanen ) is a Swiss actor .

Life

Matti grew up in Gstaad and attended school in Saanen. He then graduated from the École de Commerce in La Neuveville . At the age of 21 he attended a preliminary course at the École des Beaux-Arts in Lausanne , and from 1983 to 1987 he completed an acting training at the University of Theater in Bern . This was followed by two years of permanent engagement at the Rheinisches Landestheater in Neuss .

Since 1990 Matti has worked as a freelance actor at the Theater Club 111 in Bern, the Schauspielhaus Zürich , 400 ASA , the Stadttheater Luzern and other mostly independent theater productions. Since 1987 he has also appeared in front of the camera in various films and television productions in Germany and Switzerland. He has lived in Bern and the Saanenland since 1990 .

Matti became known in the 1990s for his role as "Rolf Aebersold" in the popular Swiss sitcom Fascht e Familie . Since then he has often appeared in front of the camera, including in SF feature films such as Sonja's return and letters and other secrets and briefly in a role in the soap Lüthi and Blanc . In the doctor series Day and Night on SF 1 he played the psychiatrist “Dr. André Kudelski ”.
