The Sasc-Furä-Hütte ( Capanna Sasc Furä ) is a mountain hut of the Swiss Alpine Club (SAC) in Bergell . It lies at an altitude of 1904  m above sea level. M. below the northern edge of Piz Badile .

As a result of the Bondo landslide in August 2017, all approaches to the hut were closed due to the risk of falling rocks. The hut therefore remained closed in 2018.

A new approach to the Sasc-Furä hut has been completed and has been officially open since July 6, 2019. The path over the Passo della Trubinasca is open again.

Approach

Free parking on the forest road at Crot Alt (450 m above Bondo). Thereafter there is a driving ban. The path is very well signposted, marked and secured - with stepladders and chains at exposed places. According to the SAC scale: T4, alpine hiking trail, marked white-blue-white. Difference in altitude: 1291 m (ascent to Trubinasca Alta 1397 m / descent to Sasc Furä 364 m), length 11.5 km, walking time: 5.5 to 6 hours.

Tours

The path to the Sciora hut to the east in the rear Val Bondasca was buried in the great Cengalo landslide in 2011 and has since been closed due to the high risk of falling rocks, but you could still walk at your own risk. In the following, even bigger landslide in 2017, eight climbers were probably buried, two must have been on the way to the Sasc-Furä hut.

The path leads south over the Bivaco Pedroni Del Pra on Pizzo Trubinasca to the Gianetti Hut (Rifugio Gianetti) of the CAI.

  • Rifugio Brasca ( 1304  m slm ) over the Trubinasca pass, walking time 6 to 7 hours
