Gabriele Diechler (* 1961 in Cologne ) is a German author .

Life

After graduating from a university of applied sciences and training as a foreign language correspondent in 1980, she trained as an insurance saleswoman and nutritionist.

From 1996 she worked as a copywriter, dramaturge and screenwriter for ARD and ORF and wrote for the main evening program. Gabriele Diechler was a member of the Association of German Scriptwriters and the Syndicate.

Since 2001 she has also written books for children and young people. Her first children's crime film Arina & Rick on a hot trail , published by G & G Verlag, Vienna , received the rating: recommendable by the Bavarian Youth Writer's Committee.

Further books for children and young people from publishers G & G, Vienna, arsEdition , Coppenrath and Carlsen followed, as well as novels for Gmeiner Verlag .

Gabriele Diechler has been writing for Insel Verlag since 2015 and is a member of DeLiA .

She lives in the Salzkammergut , on the Attersee and in Salzburg .
