Gabriele Kernke

Gabriele Kernke , also Kaburiellu K'erunk'e , (* 1965 in Diepholz ( Lower Saxony )) is a German illustrator and author.

Life

Gabriele Kernke grew up in Drebber . During her school days (1972–1985) she received initial recognition for her artistic commitment. After graduating from the Graf-Friedrich-Gymnasium in Diepholz , she studied art at the University of the Arts in Bremen from 1985 to 1989 , from which she graduated with a diploma as a graphic designer. In 1991 she received her first smaller illustration orders for newspapers and magazines and for the cover design of a children's book . Since then Gabriele Kernke has illustrated numerous children's books.
