Gaetan Roy
Gaetan Roy (* 1962 in Quebec City ) is a Canadian scientist and former entrepreneur , political commissioner, evangelical preacher , Christian musician, and composer of worship and worship songs . He is the mission leader of the evangelical youth, mission and social work Altensteig as well as chairman of the netzwerk-m ( Kassel ) and its political representative at state, federal, EU and UN level.
Live and act
Roy worked in Canada from 1984 to 1991 as a scientist in basic aerospace research. With flight simulators he tested airplanes and traffic machines at NASA and other companies and research institutes. As head of a Canadian group of companies in the field of aviation and aerospace , software and consulting firm Roy decided to give up his activity for some business trips to Europe and moved in 1991 to Germany. Here he initially worked in German-speaking countries as an administrative director, mission leader, worship leader, songwriter, producer, singing coach, singer and preacher. He initiated the Worship Academy and developed teaching material, in particular for modern singing and for worship work in congregations, and in cooperation with an American university and a Bible seminar in Ditzingen, he trains musicians up to bachelor level. Since 2004 he has been the editor of the songbook “Du bist Herr”.
He is a member of the working group of the community holiday festival Spring and since February 2015 first chairman of the association netzwerk-m . Roy has lived in Germany since 1991, he is married and has two children. The family lives in Altensteig .
