Gaia Cauchi

Gaia Cauchi (born November 19, 2002 in Mġarr ) is a singer from Malta .

life and career

Cauchi started singing at the age of two and a half, her first track being "Me And My Teddy". In the following years she took singing lessons and soon took part in international festivals. In July 2011 she took part in the Ti lascio una canzone competition in Rome and sang with Alessandra Amoroso , Alex Britti and Little Tony , among others .

On September 25, 2013, Public Broadcasting Services (PBS), the broadcaster of Malta, announced that it would be returning to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Kiev after a two-year hiatus , and Gaia Cauchi was selected internally to represent Malta. On October 18, 2013, she presented the title The Start to the public for the first time. Gaia won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013.

At the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 she was allowed to perform her JESC winning song a cappella during the voting phase.
