Gail Z. Martin

Gail Zehner Martin (born December 1, 1962 in Meadville , Pennsylvania ) is an American fantasy author . She became known through the cycle The Chronicles of the Necromancer (in German: Die Chroniken des Beschwörers ).

Life

Gail Martin was born in Meadville, Pennsylvania in 1962. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in history from Grove City College and a Masters of Business Administration (Marketing and Management Information Systems) from Pennsylvania State University .

In 2003 she founded her own company, DreamSpinner Communications . She also teaches at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte as an associate professor.

Gail Martin lives in Charlotte in the US state of North Carolina . She is married to Larry N. Martin, who is involved in her books first as editor and later as co-author. The Martins have three children.

Works

So far, twelve fantasy books by Gail Z. Martin have been published, the first four of which are referred to as The Chronicles of The Necromancer . The Fallen Kings Cycle , of which two books have appeared so far, continues the story. In the same universe take place the adventures of Jonmarc Vahanian ( Jonmarc Vahanian Adventures ), a collection of short stories which were initially only published as an e-book . The first anthology, The Shadowed Path , was published in 2016 .

Another series started in 2013 with Ice Forged , which was completed in 2016 with the fourth volume. Also in 2013, Martin began a series of short stories with The Deadly Curiosities Adventures , which were initially only published as an e-book. In 2014 the novel of the same name was published. In 2015, Martin and her husband Larry N. Martin started a steampunk series under the series title Jake Desmet Adventures .
