Gaios Skordilis ( Greek Γάιος Σκορδίλης , born December 6, 1987 in Corfu , Greece ) is a Greek basketball player who plays in the center position at a height of 2.08 m.

Career

Skordilis began his professional career in 2006 at the traditional Greek club Aris Thessaloniki , where he was under contract for five years. In 2008 he made his debut in the European Cup for the first time as part of a ULEB Cup game. In 2011 he moved to Ikaros Kallitheas . In the 2012/2013 season Skordilis was under contract with the Greek record champions Panathinaikos Athens . With Panathinaikos he was able to win the cup competition and the Greek championship . For Skordilis these were synonymous with the first titles of his professional career. Via Panionios Athens he moved to Apollon Patras in 2014, with whom Skordilis reached the final of the Greek club cup in 2015.

National team

With the Greek national team Skordilis took part in the Mediterranean Games in 2009 in the Italian Pescara part and was able to win the silver medal. With the U-18 selection, he took part in the 2005 European Championships.
