Manuel Lohmann (born October 13, 1988 in Preetz ) is a German beach volleyball and volleyball player .
It was not until the age of 19 that Lohmann came to volleyball as a lateral entrant. Within a very short time, he established himself in the top 16 of the German rankings in beach volleyball with his Mainz partner Jonas Schröder and qualified for the first time in 2011 for the German championship on Timmendorfer Strand, where he also took fifth alongside Schröder in his second participation in 2012 Took place. In addition to numerous tournament victories at regional association level, Lohmann / Schröder won the tour stop of the Smart Beach Tour in Bonn on August 10, 2012.
In 2013 Lohmann formed a team with U23 European champion Stefan Köhler . From 2014 to 2015 he played alongside Tim Wacker . In 2016, the 136-time indoor national player Marcus Popp was his partner. On the Comdirect Beach Tour 2020 , Lohmann qualified alongside Alexander Krippes for the eighth time for the German Beach Volleyball Championship in September.
In the hall, Lohmann has been active as a middle blocker for TGM Mainz-Gonsenheim in the 2nd Bundesliga South since 2012 . He has been the team's player-coach since 2019.
