The Foster Snowdrop ( Galanthus fosteri ) is a plant from the genus of the snowdrop ( Galanthus ) in the family of Amaryllidaceae family (Amaryllidaceae).

The Foster snowdrop is a perennial herbaceous plant that reaches heights of 8 to 16 centimeters. This geophyte forms an onion as a persistence organ. The linear, band-shaped, upright to backward-curved leaves are glossy or somewhat matt on the top and measure (4) 8 to 14 (17) × (0.6) 1 to 1.5 (2.4) centimeters at the time of flowering. The inner bracts have a green spot at the base and at the end, the two spots do not converge.
The flowering period extends from January to March, sometimes until April.
Occurrence
The Foster snowdrop occurs in eastern central Turkey , Syria and Lebanon on limestone cliffs, in loose maquis and on the edges of forests at altitudes of 1000 to 1600 meters.

The Foster snowdrop is rarely used as an ornamental plant in rock gardens and borders. It has been in culture since around 1885.
