Gardeo Isaacs (born December 27, 1998 ) is a South African sprinter who specializes in the 400-meter run .

Athletic career

Gardeo Isaacs gained his first experience in international championships at the Summer Universiade 2019 in Naples , where he won the bronze medal in 45.89 seconds behind the Mexican Valente Mendoza and Michail Litwin from Kazakhstan. In addition, he won the silver medal behind the team from Mexico with the South African 4 x 400 meter relay in 3: 03.23 min. Before that, he finished fifth at the World Relays in Yokohama in 3: 05.32 minutes. He then took part in the Africa Games in Rabat and reached eighth place over 400 meters in 46.79 s. In the season he received a starting place for the World Championships in Doha , where he was eliminated with 3: 02.06 min in the preliminary round.

In 2019 Isaacs became South African champion in the 400-meter run.
