Garibaldi [ ɡɛɹɪˈbɑːldi ] is a small town in Tillamook County in the northwest of the US state Oregon . The place has 899 inhabitants (as of 2000) on an area of 3.4 km²
Garibaldi is home to the Tillamook Indians , who have been fishing from here for centuries.
Garibaldi is connected to US Highway 101 .
The seaport, which is mainly a fishing port, and the marina are the main economic factors of the place.
Local attractions include the Garibaldi Museum , devoted to the history of shipping in the 18th century, the sailor Robert Gray and the Pacific Northwest is concerned, the Tillamook Bay Station of the United States Coast Guard and Lion Lumbermen's Park with a small exhibition of historic railways.
